Apparently, a new episode for the show (yeah, this thing is moving along like a dying animal) came out in the international TV stations. Here's the spoilered synopsis delivered straight from 4chan, so you can realize how much shit the show has become.

Timmy has made a million wishes, and Jorgen organized in the Fairy World a party for him. However, the Fairy Council concludes that the majority of wishes who Timmy made ended in disaster, so they start a judgment against him, with the prosecuting attorney being Foop. After a short trial (where Crimson Chin, Mark Chang and Dark Laser testify on defense of Timmy, only for Foop to trick them and turn their testimony against Timmy) Poof shows that Timmy also made a lot of good wishes.

The Fairy Council is about to declare innocent Timmy, when Foop found (in a stack of papers that were supposed ere full of bad wishes that Timmy made) that Timmy made a wish secret: he wished that everyone and everything on Earth stop to aging, to that he can preserve Cosmo and Wanda forever. He made the wish 50 years ago.

To reverse this, Father Time made everyone on Earth age 50 years. Foop realized too late that, as Poof's Anti-Fairy counterpart, he must share Poof's fate as a non-existant fairy at Hocus Poconos(sp?). Not knowing how to use futuristic devices, everyone kept destroying their homes. The only human looking the same is Crocker, who said a childhood trauma aged him all he was supposed to, so his face didn't change. Crocker then reminded Timmy about his fairies and agreed to help him in exchange for prune juice (he refused to elaborate on why he wanted that).

Crocker took Timmy to the Crocker Cave, where they took a rocket to the room where he keeps his portal to Fairy World. However, Crocker was afraid of using it since all animals that tested it ended up burnt. Timmy noticed the portal was set to the Sun's surface and adjusted it to Fairy World. There, they found Cosmo and Wanda and reminded them about Poof. They confronted Jorgen about it. Jorgen wasn't allowed to remind them about Poof but now he could tell them everything else. Out of grief, Jorgen let himself go. Timmy, Cosmo, Wanda, Jorgen and Crocker went to Hocus Poconos to rescue Poof. Impressed by the fact Timmy would sacrifice himself for them and that he said he only made that secret wish to keep his fairies because they were family, the Fairy Council had Father Time rewind the 50 years.

That is fuck.

It isn't enough that this show is still going, it has to do that?! In real life Timmy would be committed to an asylum!

Yeah, my gut says that's an idiot trolling the fanbase. Just like a lot of the crap rumors about season 3 of DP that popped up after they let it rot a year before actually airing it.

4chan

...Yep, it's fake.

That first bit involving a trial didn't actually sound too bad. Not very original, but not the most terrible thing.

I don't know what to say about the following three paragraphs. Also, I would very much like to not age.

Immortality would be awesome. Anyway, are you telling me know one on the planet notice the fact they haven't aged in five decades? Idiot plot much, not to mention the only way for this not to be a plot hole would be essentially hinting at Mind Rape at a global scale.

So what, has the entire series taken place over the course of the fifty years, or is this a 20 Minutes into the Future scenario? The first would be a great deal more interesting.

You know it's not going to be the first because of the implications.

I watched the episode myself (I have a link but I'm not sure if its legal to post it here) and it wasn't nearly as bad as its being described. The 50 years into the future thing is a gag to show everyone old and show Dimmsdale as a Jetsons parody. It is over before you know it, and I thought it was pretty funny seeing a Granny Vicky and other old characters.

It makes me cringe whenever you "fans" start picking apart new episodes simply because none of them feature Trixie Tang"s "hidden depths" or some other boring plot nobody but a select few wanted.

I like the premise alone (I like it when something is revealed that changes the way you look at an entire series) but this happening on Fairly Odd Parents is just too weird for me to process. I think the special would benefit a lot from not pushing the Reset Button, even moreso than everything else, but what can you do?

Wait, so is it an episode, or a special? I think that might be why I lost interest in Fairly Oddparents, all the hour-long specials or TV movies or crossovers with Jimmy Neutron or whatever, it's just way too much for me to keep track of for what should be a simple gag humor show.

Okay, I'm one of the few fans of the show that doesn't take perverse pleasure in picking apart newer episodes, but...

THAT is just completely screwed up. The show has gone utterly and irreversibly insane and nobody can stop this crazy train from going off the rails. I really do not get how that at all is supposed to work.

...but, then, I suppose I should reserve all judgement until it airs.

Freakin' why?!??

Aaaaaand I was right. Sadly.

Seriously why can't Timmy grow some fucking testicles and let go of his fairies? Just kill the show now. It would be just like putting down a diseased pet.

[up] I bet that's why no one (excpt for a few die-hard fans) around here saw this special. You pointed it out.

LET. THIS. SHOW. DIE. ALREADY.

I swear - continuing work on this show is only hurting actially decent fare like TUFF Puppy. I wouldn't be surprised if that show begins to suck to me/sucks even more to people who dislike it now because the people working on this piece of shit forget they have another show to work that deserves more of their time than this forgettable/ovrrated fare.

=Rant Over= And i didn't have to witness the special to have the gut feeling it wasn't watchable in the least bit...

EDIT- My Reason: To not sound like a complete asshole, like I always seem to do, even when not meaning to...
