IVE (아이브) (often stylised in all caps) is a six-member Kpop girl-group under Starship Entertainment. They made their official debut in 2021 with their single "Eleven". Two of the members (Yujin and Wonyoung) were previously members of IZ*ONE.

Tropes related to IVE:

  • Colour-Coded for Your Convenience:
    • Gaeul - blue
    • Yujin - magenta
    • Rei - green
    • Wonyoung - red
    • Liz - cyan
    • Leeseo - yellow
  • Cupid's Arrow: The music video for Love Dive uses a lot of imagery related to Cupid's arrow. The lights outside the mansion are shaped like arrows with hearts on the end, Rei is also shown walking through the maze with a bow and a quiver of heart-tipped arrows, and finally, neon line-drawings of Cupid himself appear around Wonyoung in the second half of the video.
  • Disco: Their third single "After Like" samples the string section of the iconic Disco hit "I Will Survive" by Gloria Gaynor.
  • The Leader: Yujin, notable as she was one of the younger members of her previous group IZ*ONE.
  • Panthera Awesome: The MV for "HEYA" from their second EP IVE SWITCH features a lot of tiger imageries throughout the video, aside for some recurring traditional Korean motifs. Makes sense as the theme was revealed to be inspired from an oriental folklore called "The Tiger Who Loves The Sun".
  • Stage Names: The two youngest members, Liz and Leeseo, both use stage names. For Liz, her stage name comes from her English name, which is Elizabeth. Leeseo's stage name is possibly a portmanteau of her surname and her first name - Leeseo (이서) from Lee Hyunseo (이현서).
  • Flying Car: The music video for Love Dive shows the girls flying through the sky in a car with angel wings.
